Our Mission
Gaston Residential Services, Inc. (GRS) supports and empowers people with developmental and other disabilities to live their lives as respected members of their community. People with disabilities, including those with the most severe disabilities, are important and valued members of our society.
To achieve our mission, we listen to each person served by GRS, helping him or her build positive relationships with others. We support each person in exploration and development of personal, employment, recreational, and spiritual pursuits to achieve self-fulfillment.

GRS has an Accessibility Plan to address barriers in policies, practices and procedures. Additionally, our staff work with county and local cities to address barriers identified in the community.
Our Accessibility Committee strives to identify, remove and prevent barriers to accessibility which will enhance service standards for all people receiving GRS’ services, CMG services and citizens and visitors.
